PRIOR TO UPDATE:

In case you upgrade from v1.00(b002) and have activated the “Protect device”

configuration by means of the SpeechExec software, make sure to disable the

“Protect device” configuration checkbox before you start the upgrade.

HINT:

PC can't boot if DPM is connected and the first device in the boot sequence is a USB device.

NEW FUNCTIONS:

- Jump back

For faster review of the last words a short tap on the 4-position switch will generate a four (4) seconds jump back. Only applicable for Digital Pocket Memo 9620 with Philips or Philips classic 4-position switch configuration.

- Increased time for Power Saving Mode

For faster operation the device switches into power saving mode after 60 minutes

instead of four (4) minutes.

SOLVED PROBLEMS:

- Audible noise with external speaker

In the rare occasion when external speakers where connected to the Digital

Pocket Memo an audible click noise could be heard when switching the device from

play to stop mode.

- Reduction of USB microphone gain

The microphone gain has been reduced for better compatibility with

Dragon Naturally Speaking®. This gain reduction is only effective when the

device is used as a USB microphone.

- Recording problem with some SD cards

Slow Secure Digital (SD) memory cards caused timing problems when using Quality

Play (QP) recording mode together with the on board encryption function.

Recording stopped.

- File sequence

Using long file names together with a barcode module caused a change of the file

sequence in some occasions.

- Double file name

In some occasions when using long file names and application of the delete file

function could generate two file pointers for the same entry. The same dictation

appeared twice.
